I briefly participated in Suddenly Seminary today, but I forgot to take a picture of the event. So that's me on the left, j:r, waving in the empty room after the fact. Note the graying hair.
While I was there, the discussion revolved around how to create community when the participants are geographically scattered. ...Not sure what happened to the planned discussion of the paper We Know More Than Our Pastors: Why Bloggers Are the Vanguard of the Participatory Church. I am guessing that Andrew is off an hour when he said " Lets meet Tuesday 13th July at 7-9 pm (GMT - london time)" because according to a GMT web site, the UK is currently on British Summer Time, one hour ahead of GMT.
Jon - Sorry about the multiple trackbacks... my first time sending a ping. As you can tell, I didn't think the first couple of tries went through... oops! :-)
Found ya through Jed Brewster (his website is Onward and Upward). Good stuff!

I am absolutely fascinated by this! For awhile now I have been chewing on how we might be church through the Internet. I have been reading Liquid Church by Pete Ward, which speaks to these sorts of possibilities. So, this is intriguing to me. Is it difficult to do? Is there a cost?

Hutch, no problem -- I just deleted the duplicates.
Rich, it is not difficult and there is no charge. Go to the Suddenly Seminary link above for directions if you want to give it a whirl.
